x LED Light Technology Introduces 2X2 LED Retrofit For Fluorescent
LED Light Tech announces the addition of 2X2 LED fluorescent retrofit fixtures to its product line. The LED 2X2 fixtures feature LEDs that install into new commercial and industrial constructions and retrofit for existing buildings. When compared to traditional fluorescent 2X2 fixtures, 2X2 LED retrofits offer the benefits of containing no mercury, reducing environmental waste, energy savings, HVAC savings and no maintenance.

x Featured Product
The LuxemBright® Standard LED channel letter illumination system is a low voltage, highly efficient alternative to traditional neon and fluorescent lighting. It offers easy installation, durability, and a long life span for all of your channel letter illumination needs. 3 modules per foot and 10 LEDs per module cluster design allows for extremely bright and homogenous lighting.

LED Benefits

xLED Lighting can provide huge benefits to both your bottom line and the environment.

Facilities Benefits Include:
  • Power Savings: LED retrofits use less than half of the wattage of a traditional lighting fixture. This ensures tremendous savings on electric bills each month.
  • HVAC Savings: LED Light Tech fixtures produce up to 95% less heat than current traditional lighting which reduces the cost of air conditioning dramatically. Interestingly enough some building operators actually shut off the heating system during cold months, allowing the heat generated by the lighting system to warm the building. A very inefficient and costly way to heat a building!
  • No Maintenance: LED fixtures can run for over 12 years. This eliminates labor associated with maintaining the lighting fixtures such as: changing ballast, light bulbs and maintance to HVAC systems. LED lighting also eliminates inventory of expensive replacement bulbs.
  • Recycling: Unlike CFL and other fluorescent bulbs, LED products do not contain mercury and are RoHS compliant (no toxins). Mercury is a hazardous material and Government regulations require CFL and florescent bulbs to be disposed of as HazMat. The cost associated with proper disposal of CFL and other fluorescent bulbs can cost up to $1.00 per bulb every time one is replaced.
