LED Light Technology Introduces 2X2 LED Retrofit For FluorescentLED Light Tech announces the addition of 2X2 LED fluorescent retrofit fixtures to its product line. The LED 2X2 fixtures feature LEDs that install into new commercial and industrial constructions and retrofit for existing buildings. When compared to traditional fluorescent 2X2 fixtures, 2X2 LED retrofits offer the benefits of containing no mercury, reducing environmental waste, energy savings, HVAC savings and no maintenance.
Designed to mirror the form of a recessed downlight in application, the Down Light Retrofit can be retrofit into 5” or 6” recessed downlights by simply replacing the existing Edison base lamp and trim or, unlike any of its competitors, be surface mounted to a J-Box as a luminaire.
